To sign-in and pay your seat deposit, enter your LSAC ID (e.g., L12345678) and date of birth below.  Based on your sign-in, you will be shown the amount of money owed on your seat payment, asked to select your starting semester, then given the option to make payment.  Seat deposits are non-refundable.  If you have questions, contact the Admissions Office at law-admit@drake.edu or (515) 271-2782.

You also have the option of calling Drake University Cashier's office at 515-271-3805 between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm CST to pay with a credit card.

Payment Instructions

These instructions guide you through the process of paying your Law School seat deposit.  The first step will open Drake's payment system (TouchNet) in another tab or window of your browser.  Reference these instructions as you access the payment system.  If you have questions along the way, please contact the Admissions Office at law-admit@drake.edu or (515) 271-2782.

  1. Click "Make Payment" below to open TouchNet, Drake's payment processing system.
  2. After a moment you should see a "My Account" page.
  3. Note that the "My Account" page through TouchNet will open in a different browser tab or window.  If your web browser doesn't automatically switch to the new tab or window, you may need to do so.
  4. From the top menu of links, choose "Deposits".

  5. In the page that follows...
    1. Choose "Fall Law 20XX" from the "Select Term for Deposit Payment" panel and click Select.
    2. A "Select Deposit Payment" panel will appear. [Calculated text based on values retrieved]
    3. Click Continue.

  6. Enter the information requested for your method of payment.

If you experience an issue making your payment online we encourage you to try a different browser.  Firefox is preferred.  If issues persist you may also contact the Office of Student Accounts at (515) 271-3805 to pay your deposit via credit card over the phone.

Seat Deposit Paid
